Design and Exterior

The upcoming Toyota 2025 SUV will feature Toyota’s global “Urban Robust” design language, giving it a strong and confident look. Expect a bold hexagonal grille, sleek LED DRLs, and a muscular bumper that complements its sporty stance. The SUV will have large 18-inch alloy wheels, roof rails, and chrome accents to highlight its premium feel. Spy shots suggest a floating roof design and a modern LED tail-lamp cluster that gives it a dynamic and aggressive road presence — perfect for Indian highways and cities alike.

Interior and Comfort

Inside, Toyota aims to deliver a comfortable and tech-savvy cabin. The 2025 SUV will include a large 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The dashboard will have a layered design with soft-touch materials, and seats will be made from high-quality synthetic leather with ventilation. A panoramic sunroof, multi-zone climate control, ambient lighting, and a premium JBL sound system are also expected.
Toyota will provide ample legroom and boot space, making it suitable for long family drives and weekend trips.

Performance and Engine Options

According to Autocar India and CarWale, Toyota plans to introduce two engine options for this SUV — a 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine and a 1.5-liter strong hybrid system (the same unit seen in the Toyota Hyryder). The hybrid model will deliver excellent fuel efficiency — over 25 km/l — and a smooth driving experience. Both engines will come with manual and automatic (CVT/e-CVT) options, and Toyota may also introduce an all-wheel-drive variant for premium trims.

Technology and Safety

The new SUV will be equipped with Toyota’s Safety Sense 3.0 suite, including ADAS features such as adaptive cruise control, lane departure alert, blind-spot monitoring, and autonomous emergency braking. It will also come with 6 airbags, traction control, hill hold assist, and a 360-degree camera for better visibility. Toyota’s commitment to reliability and safety will ensure that the SUV scores high in global NCAP ratings.

Expected Launch and Price

The Toyota 2025 SUV is expected to debut in mid-2025, with a price range starting around ₹14 lakh and going up to ₹22 lakh (ex-showroom India). It will compete with Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, Skoda Kushaq, and MG Astor. Bookings may open a few months before the official launch, as Toyota prepares for large-scale production at its Bidadi plant in Karnataka.
